Only PIN Debit Card Transactions Allowed in Mexico
Effective immediately, all debit card transactions incurred in Mexico require the Personal Identification Number (PIN). This measure is in response to fraudulent signature-based transactions originating in Mexico.
As a safety precaution, do not share your PIN with anyone. If you have forgotten your PIN, please:
- Visit a branch to re-PIN your debit card, or
- Call the Member Service Center to cancel your current debit card, and request a new one ($5 replacement fee).
