POSITION:  Teller 

 

BRANCH:    Jackson Keller - Full-time
                       Spring Branch (inside HEB) - Part-time

                       

HOURS:       Part-time schedule - up to 25-hour work week to include some Saturdays

                        Full-time schedule - up to 40-hour work week to include some Saturdays

                         

 

ROLE: To welcome members and potential members by providing product and service information while assisting with their financial transactions involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.  

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A high school diploma.  Experience: Six months to two years of heavy cash-handling or Teller experience.  Interpersonal Skills: Ability to serve membership with courtesy, tact and diplomacy is required.  Work involves fostering sound relationships with members, vendors and staff.   Problem Solving: Ability to apply specific standards and operating procedures.  Decisions normally take the form of recommendations.  Other: Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task while managing time effectively.  Must be proficient with MS Office.   Symitar experience is a plus.  May be required to lift up to 60 pounds.

POSITION:  Assistant Branch Manager 

 

BRANCH:    Bandera (inside HEB)                       

HOURS:       Four 10-hours work days to include some Saturdays

                       

                         

 

ROLE: To assist in directing the operations of the branch by aiding the Branch Manager in ensuring the branch meets financial, operational, service and growth plans. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study in a related field.  Experience: Two to five years directly related experience.  Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact.  Work involves motivating or influencing others while fostering sound relationships with members, vendors and staff.   Problem Solving: Work requires analytical ability, judgment and ingenuity.  Other: Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while managing time efficiently.  Excellent  verbal and written communication skills.  Must be proficient with MS Office.   Symitar experience is a plus.  May be required to lift up to 60 pounds.

POSITION:  Automated Services Specialist 

 

BRANCH:    Downtown Branch                       

HOURS:       8:30 - 5:30 - Monday - Friday                    

 

ROLE: To provide support in the financial management of the credit union through maintenance of accounting records and reports.  Performs routine assigned tasks within the accounting department according to established procedures. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A high school diploma. Experience: Two to five years directly related experience.  Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact.  Work involves motivating or influencing others while fostering sound relationships with members, vendors and staff.   Problem Solving: Work requires analytical ability, judgment and ingenuity. Other: Self starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.  Working knowledge of Visa and Mastercard network rules and regulation.  Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word.  Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively research and resolve issues and descrepancies.  Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.  Symitar experience is a plus.  May be required to lift up to 60 pounds.
