POSITION: Assistant
Branch Manager
BRANCH:
Jackson Keller Branch & Downtown Branch
Bandera Branch (inside HEB)
HOURS: Forty-hour work week - may include Saturdays
ROLE:
To assist in
directing the operations of the branch by aiding the Branch Manager
in ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational,
service, and
growth plans.
Meets with members
to open new accounts or take loan applications. Assists
members by responding to and/or resolving related account issues,
or directs members to the appropriate people.
Supervises Teller operations and assists
members with their financial transactions, involving paying and
receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of
study. Experience:
Two to five years of similar experience within a financial institution.
Interpersonal Skills:
Courtesy,
tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Ability
to motivate employee performance and foster sound
relationships with staff, members and vendors. Ability
to maintain confidentiality as work involves extensive personal
contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive
nature.
Problem Solving:
Ability to analyze and apply diversified procedures, specialized job
standards and specific policies. Other: Excellent
communication skills. Must
be detail oriented with the
ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Proficient
MS Office skills and
10-key calculator by touch.
Symitar
experience is a plus.

POSITION: Lead
Member Service Center Representative
BRANCH: Downtown
HOURS: Forty-hour work week
ROLE:
To assist
members and potential members with meeting their financial needs by
providing superior service
and represent the credit union in a professional manner at all
times. Assist the MS Center Manager
in maintaining efficient department operations and high quality
service. Serve as a lead subject
matter expert for the MS Center staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
A high school
diploma; some college preferred. Experience:
Two to five years of similar experience in a lead position. Interpersonal Skills:
A significant
level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal
courtesy. Work involves motivating others and fostering
sound professional relationships. Problem Solving:
Ability to apply specific standards and operating procedures in
making decisions and recommendations. Other: Excellent
telephone skills including a professional vocal demeanor.
Ability to handle
difficult situations with tact, empathy and professionalism.
Excellent written
communication and organizational skills. Ability to apply
analytical skills in making decisions that are for the protection of
the member and the credit union. Must be detail oriented with
the ability to multi-task quickly and accurately in a fast-paced
environment. Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment and
various internet browsers. Working knowledge of mobile devices
and applications. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Teller
BRANCH:
Southeast and Bitters
HOURS: Up to
30-hour work week to include some Saturdays
ROLE: To
welcome members and potential members by providing product and service information while
assisting with their financial transactions involving paying and
receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
A high school diploma. Experience:
Six months to two years of heavy cash-handling or Teller
experience. Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to serve membership with courtesy, tact and diplomacy is
required. Work involves fostering sound relationships with
members, vendors and staff.
Problem Solving: Ability to apply specific standards and
operating procedures. Decisions normally take the form of
recommendations. Other: Must be detail oriented and
able to multi-task while managing time effectively. Must be
proficient with MS Office. Symitar experience is a
plus. May be required to lift up to 60 pounds.
