POSITION:  PT Teller 

 

BRANCH:    Downtown Branch & Spring Branch (inside HEB)

HOURS:       
Part-time schedule - up to 25-hour work week to include some Saturdays



ROLE:
To welcome members and potential members by providing product and service information while assisting with their financial transactions involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.  

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A high school diploma.  Experience: Six months to two years of heavy cash-handling or Teller experience.  Interpersonal Skills: Ability to serve membership with courtesy, tact and diplomacy is required.  Work involves fostering sound relationships with members, vendors and staff.   Problem Solving: Ability to apply specific standards and operating procedures.  Decisions normally take the form of recommendations.  Other: Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task while managing time effectively.  Must be proficient with MS Office.   Symitar experience is a plus.  May be required to lift up to 60 pounds.

POSITION:  Collector

 

BRANCH:    Jackson Keller Branch

HOURS:       
Forty-hour work week



ROLE:
To preserve the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collection delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral.  Managing a collection work queue to include repossessions, foreclosures, REO and delinquent accounts assigned to third parties ( external collection vendors, and attorneys) while minimizing loss to the credit union.    

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A high school diploma. Experience: Two to five years of collections experience.  Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves motivating and influencing others in addition to fostering sound relationships. Problem Solving: Ability to make decisions based on specific standards and operating procedures. Other: Proven working knowledge and experience with all FDCPA rules and regulations.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate with tact, empathy and professionalism.  Ability to apply analytical skills in making collection decisions.  Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  Proficient MS Office skills including expert knowledge of Excel.  Experience with Symitar and third party collection software is plus.  May be required to lift up to 60 pounds.

POSITION:  Assistant Branch Manager

 

BRANCH:    Spring Branch (inside HEB)

HOURS:       
Forty hour work week to include rotating Saturdays



ROLE:
To assist in the operations of a small, remote credit union facility by aiding the Branch Manager in ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service and growth plans.     

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A two year college degree or equivalent. Experience: Two to five years of similar or related experience.  Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves motivating and influencing others in addition to fostering sound relationships. Problem Solving: Ability to make decisions based on specific standards and operating procedures. Other: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  Proficient MS Office skills. Financial institution experience is preferred, Symitar experience is a plus.  May be required to lift up to 60 pounds or stand for an extended amount of time.

POSITION:  Member Service Representative

 

BRANCH:    Bandera Branch (inside HEB)

HOURS:       
Forty-hour work week to include rotating Saturdays


ROLE: To welcome and assist members and potential members with thier Credit Union needs by explaining products and services.  Meets with members to open new accounts or take loan applications.  Assists members by responding to and/or resolving related account needs, or directs members to the appropropiate source.  Assists members with their financial transactions involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments. 

   

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A high school diploma.  Experience: Two to five years of similar experience in a related industry.  Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.  Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a confidential or sensitive nature. Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and apply diversified procedures and make recommendations.  Other: Excellent communications and sales skills.  Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel.  Financial institution experience preferred; Symitar experience is a plus.  May be required to lift up to 60 pounds or stand for an extended amount of time.
