The new RCFCU EMV debit cards are now here! You can get your instant issued EMV chip-enabled debit card at either our Jackson Keller or Augusta branches beginning April 12*!

Members who have debit cards that expire in May will be the first batch to have the EMV card mailed via the regular re-issue process.

Using your EMV card is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Insert your card, chip up.
  2. Follow the prompts on the terminal. Enter your PIN or sign your name.
  3. Remove your card after the transaction is approved (when prompted).



Here are some Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I activate my new EMV chip-enabled card?
A: Call the phone number listed on the sticker on the front of the card. If you need to change your PIN, give us a call and we’ll walk you through the steps.

Q: Will the PIN I use for making purchases be the same as the PIN used for cash withdrawals at an ATM?
A: Yes, your PIN will be the same for purchases and ATM withdrawals.

Q: Are there any additional fees associated with my chip- enabled card?
A: No additional fees apply to your new EMV card.

Q: Will my debit card number change? Will I have to update my automatic debit card withdrawals?
A: No your debit card number will not change. You will not have to update your automatic withdrawals since your debit card number will remain the same.

Q: Do I need to go into a branch and get an EMV card now?
A: No. Your mag-stripe card will continue to work until it expires. There is no need to get an EMV card issued.
