The Board of Directors has appointed a Nominating Committee of Kevin Rasco, Gail Ribalta, and Elia Carmona for the 2019 elections.

This year, there are two (2), three-year terms up for election. The Nominating Committee has submitted the following candidates for consideration:

Glen Glass (incumbent) retired from AT&T as Associate General Counsel, and previously retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army Reserve. He holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Missouri, where he also earned a Juris Doctor. Glass has served as past Chairman and member of the RCFCU Board of Directors since 2004. He has contributed to the well-being of the membership by serving on the executive committee of the Cornerstone Credit Union League Volunteer Council.

William Bruce Ashton (incumbent) retired after 33 years with Texaco Refining and Marketing. He holds a BS in Engineering from Trinity University and an MS from Lamar University. From 1993 until 1998, Ashton served on the Board of Directors for Texaco FCU in Los Angeles. In addition, he served as South Texas Youth Soccer Referee Administrator from 1990 to 1992. In his spare time, he enjoys bicycling, woodworking and swimming.

Nominations by Petition

Nominations by petition from qualified members are accepted when signed by 1% of the membership or 116 members (subject to verification). Persons nominated by petition must submit a Volunteer Submission form and a Biographical Questionnaire, along with the petition. Deadline for Nominations by Petition is Friday, February 15, 2019. The results of the election will be announced at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
