Official Rules: River City FCU Debit Swipes Drawing

1. Mandatory Legal Disclosure

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF RIVER CITY FCU WITH A DIRECT DEPOSIT SET UP. NO PURCHASE OR SURVEY SUBMISSION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.

2. Sponsor and Administrator

  • Sponsor: River City Federal Credit Union (RCFCU)

  • Sponsor Address: 5308 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78238

  • Administrator: River City FCU 

3. Eligibility

  • Open To: Legal U.S. residents who are current, active members of River City FCU and are at least eighteen (18) years of age.

  • Exclusions: Employees, officers, contractors and directors of River City FCU and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win.

4. Entry Period

  • Start Date: November 1, 2025 at noon Central Time (CT)

  • End Date:  November 30, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time (CT)

  • Drawing Date: On or about December 5, 2025

5. How to Enter

Method 1: You must have 6 or more swipes associated with your River City FCU Debit Card in November to enter. Swipes will be automatically recorded by the credit union.

Method 2: Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE)

Email the following mandatory information to marketing@rivercityfcu.org with the subject line "Debit Swipe Entry":

  1. Full Name

  2. Phone Number

  3. Email Address

  4. Zip Code

 NOTE: All entries must be received by the End Date/Time listed above.

6. Prize Details

  • Prize: Ten (10) lucky winners will be awarded.

  • Prize Value (Approximate Retail Value or ARV): $100.00

  • Prize Options (Winner's Choice):

    • A $100.00 direct deposit credit into the winner's River City FCU account.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

  • Selection: The winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.

  • Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

  • Notification: The winners will be notified by email or phone within 30 business days of the drawing date.

Prize Forfeiture: If the potential winner does not respond within 7 days of the first notification attempt, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Tax Obligations

MANDATORY TAX DISCLOSURE: The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize's acceptance and use. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the prize is subject to tax reporting. River City FCU will issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner if required by law (e.g., if the cumulative value of prizes won from RCFCU in the calendar year is $600 or more).
